1. Overview

The Org Chart visualises your company's reporting hierarchy as an interactive tree. Open Org Chart from the sidebar (Admin / HR / Manager).

2. How the Hierarchy is Built

The chart is generated automatically from each employee's manager / supervisor relationship. Employees with no manager appear at the top as roots; everyone else is nested under the person they report to. There is nothing extra to maintain — keep the reporting line on each employee accurate and the chart stays current.

Loop-safe. If a reporting line accidentally forms a cycle, the chart still renders cleanly without looping — but you should fix the underlying relationship (see below).

3. Reading the Chart

Each node shows the employee's name, designation and department. Expand or collapse a manager to show or hide their direct reports, and follow the tree down to see the full chain of command across offices and departments.

4. Fixing Gaps

  • Someone missing or at the top unexpectedly? Their manager isn't set — edit the employee and assign a supervisor.
  • Wrong manager? Update the reporting line on the employee record; the chart refreshes from the latest data.
